Our Founders, Peter & Ruby
Our Ivory & Deene story dates back to 2002 when we found ourselves in the difficult position of having more expenditure than income. We began scouring weekly garage sales, identifying items with profit potential, photographing them and uploading them to eBay. The model quickly took off as we recognised a largely untapped online commerce market. In the midst of the largest shift in the history of commerce, we decided to use this online model to bring affordable luxury goods to homes across the country.
Ivory & Deene was born.
As demand began to soar, we realised it was time to regroup and consolidate our range to better suit the Australian market. Luxury products that were both affordable and accessible to all Australians. Products we loved.
Our first import of bed linen formed the foundation of the Ivory & Deene home and living range and, soon after, our website was launched.
The Ivory & Deene journey had begun!
Our range has since evolved with a sensitivity to the Australian market. Ivory & Deene continues to offer products with comfort, flair and opulence in mind.
